When it cooled down a bit outside we all went into the backyard to swing.
Jon is slowly making progress on the tree house he has the framing up for the”house” part.

Jon had to work this Father’s day so me and the kids went up to the hospital to see him. Jack was so excited about going there that he wanted to bring his “doctor stuff” and wear his doctor PJs so he could help make people feel better.

The kids wanted to paint tonight before dinner, and boy did they paint..themselves!

I just finished Jack’s new blanket..he LOVES his blankets, now he has 3 of them he totes around! The plan was to make one for Kate’s second birthday but I knew Jack would want one as well so I made his first and will be starting Kate’s soon.

The kids enjoyed some time in the backyard last week. Jon turned part of the yard into a mud pit for Jack to roll his truck in.
Kate LOVES her tutu still and has become quite the fashion princess!

The tree house progress: Jon has 3 out of the four wall studs up..soon he will be framing out little windows and a door...the he will start framing the roof!

The kids had a blast will all our pillows and blankets tonight building a house

It is almost done! Jon has completed the slide install, swings are up and so is the ladder...next he will work on the house part, which will be about 8ft x 8ft...stay tuned.

Just finished Jack’s “scrapbook” from 2009. I am getting it printed this week..check it out

We just got back from a little trip to Virginia to see old friends. We got to see our awesome friends Doug and Cindy and also got to see our friends the Carsons. The kids had a blast. They always amaze me when it comes to the car ride...they watched their DVDs the whole time..over 10 hours worth. I won’t be nominated Mother of the Year for that.
